My Take:
I was privileged to meet Glenys at a writer’s conference and hear her read this wonderful children’s book. Her lilting British accent and cadence make the words of her poem sing. As the Goodreads description says, the book travels through the seasons, displaying God’s glory and power through her words and illustrations. Glenys chooses her words with great care, which is evident as you read. She plays with them until they are just right. The illustrations are gorgeous and made me want to jump into the page as the children romp through fields and climb trees. If you have children in your life (and even if you don’t!), you CAN’T miss this book! It will bless you as much as those you share it with.
